The Saints Come Marching In:

The Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach Saints have a solid core group back from a season ago. The Saints added Sammy McGuire Sammy McGuire 6'3" | SF Christian Academy Of Myrtle Beach | 2025 SC this off season from nearby Carolina Forest HS. McGuire is a long and rangy slashing wing. Sammy excels in the transition game and brings the Saints some much needed athleticism.

Brayden Hendrix Brayden Hendrix 6'0" | CG Christian Academy Of Myrtle Beach | 2025 State SC is back in the mix for his senior season for the Saints. Hendrix is a very confident shooter who has no problems from pulling up from deep range. He will be joined by Sabion Sessions Sabion Sessions 6'8" | C Christian Academy Of Myrtle Beach | 2025 SC who has really started to improve his game down in the paint. Sessions a thick back to the basket post player has a soft set of hands and has no problems being a mover-screener on the floor at times. Sessions recently joined Middleton Hoops Elite on the Grassroots Circuit.

Ayden Leith Ayden Leith 6'1" | CG Christian Academy Of Myrtle Beach | 2028 SC and Aubrey Hall Aubrey Hall 6'2" | PG Christian Academy Of Myrtle Beach | 2026 State SC were both sitting out here today for the Saints with injuries.

Can the Saints make a move in SCISA Class 3A this season?

Seahawk Duo Will Lead the Way:

James Watson James Watson 6'0" | PG Myrtle Beach | 2025 SC and Matthew Campbell Matthew Campbell 5'8" | PG Myrtle Beach | 2025 SC will have to lead the way this season for the Seahawks. Watson a scoring guard really likes to fire up shots from the perimeter. James will take tough shots at times from the mid-range to downtown. Watson will be one of the reliable scorers this season for the Seahawks.

Campbell is an absolute blur on the floor at times. Matthew is quick as a hiccup with the ball at times. He will tend to overhandle at times, but he surely had no problems touching the paint and getting into the gaps here today. Campbell is quite shifty with the rock in his hands and was able to change directions quite easily racing by defenders today.

New Names for the Database:

Cam Palmer Cam Palmer 6'3" | PG Berkeley | 2025 SC – Berkeley HS (Moncks Corner)

Palmer was a nice surprise here today with his play for the Stags. Cam did a good job of seeing the floor and surveying the defense for the Stags. He showed good body control on the way to the cup and was able to stick down some open jumpers along the way. The Stags have a solid core of players to make some noise this season in the Lower State for Head Coach Matt Mullins.

Downtez Evans Downtez Evans 5'9" | PG Stall | 2025 SC – Stall HS (North Charleston)

Evans didn’t play much last season for the Warriors. Downtez kept the ball on string here today at times. He was able to get downhill into the paint and penetrate-kick along the way. He brought a great energy to the floor for the Warriors. Evans has a very athletic frame and plays football in the fall for the Warriors.

Sutton Cooper Sutton Cooper 6'4" | SF Waccamaw | 2025 SC – Waccamaw HS (Pawleys Island)

Cooper likes to set up shop out on the wing behind the 3-point line. Sutton is best suited as a catch-shoot guy. He was able to connect on open jumpers and he was always ready to receive the ball in the pocket for the Warriors. Cooper will be instrumental in the Warriors plans this coming season.
